Customer Collaborations

At JEOL UK, we are proud to be part of a number of strategic collaborations with our customers. These partnerships enable us to develop and refine the future of scientific research.

York JEOL Nanocentre

Created to produce groundbreaking research combined with an open access, industry-first approach, the York JEOL Nanocentre is a major collaboration between the University of York and JEOL UK Ltd, the world-leading manufacturer of electron optics.

JEOL Centre for Advanced Technology (JCAT)

The Centre for Ultrastructural Imaging (CUI) at King’s College London established a partnership with JEOL to create the JEOL Centre for Advanced Technology within their centre.

This brings together world-class researchers in life and physical sciences with the instrument development capacity of an internationally leading electron optics manufacturer to provide a research setting where new instrument ideas can be developed and optimised in partnership with academics.
This promotes the exchange of ideas between scientists and developers in a dynamic environment with training and technical innovation at its heart.

EPSRC/JEOL Centre for Liquid Phase Electron Microscopy at UCL, London

In collaboration with EPSRC, JEOL and DENSsolutions, the Centre for Liquid Phase Electron Microscopy Imaging was established. This centre is equipped with state-of-the-art electron microscopy facilities to image liquid samples with sub-nanometer spatial resolution and temporal resolution of milliseconds.

electron Physical Science Imaging Centre (ePSIC)

The electron Physical Science Imaging Centre (ePSIC) is a national facility for aberration corrected electron microscopy. ePSIC provides access to state of the art transmission electron microscopes with expert support from electron microscopy scientists.
